AHP Supervision & Mentoring Services

"It's a conversation. It's an opportunity to meet professional responsibilities, to enhance service offerings, to reflect on personal and professional aspirations, to have a safe space to speak and a safe place to dream. It's a place to develop and learn and recognise achievements. It's building confidence."

🤝 Join Our OT Menopause Support Programs 🤝

It's nice to meet you!

I have reached out for different people at different times for supervision, mentorship and coaching.  Sometimes formally and sometimes informally. The value of this cannot be expressed - it has helped shape resilience, it has helped develop skills, it has helped overcome challenges.

Sometimes you need someone to guide, to support or to offer a new perspective and support change.  The relationship is oh-so important, so reach out and let's chat.

Also, our SPOTlights communities focusing on on posture care (#PCMSIG) and our OT community (#theOTtribe) may, in due course, identify other members and peers you may wish to connect with for this purpose.

Be you - be amazing!

Seriously, why so many photos of  flowers!?

I am an experimental gardener. I have found there are flowers that are the first to take root and survive. There are others that require nurturing and careful monitoring otherwise they wilt. There are others, still, that with too much care will die. In all my interactions with people that I've supported, these things remain consistent:

  • Everyone is unique - each has key strengths and skills and curiosities,
  • Everyone is beautiful and has a right to shine,
  • Valued clinicians with the right balance of support and autonomy will deliver above and beyond expectations,
  • Knowledge should be shared,
  • We are nothing without others in our journey as therapists.

When I was growing up in South Africa travelling the dirt roads from home to school, there was always an abundance of cosmos flowers on the road edges. They grew in harsh conditions and thrived. They existed right next door to perfectly cultivated farmers' fields.

We are like flowers. We can be hardy, sensitive or in-between - and together we bring hope and joy and a community to help others thrive.
